The Collegiate Collective

For generations, college gospel choirs have been one of the most enduring institutions on American campuses — their rehearsal rooms double as havens, sanctuaries, and incubators, where students often find their voices, their people, and their purpose. Yet these choirs have too often shouldered the tradition alone.

The GIC Collegiate Collective changes that. Launched by the Gospel Industry Coalition, this is a collaborative initiative between college gospel choirs and GIC, a national gospel industry organization founded to strengthen, nurture, and unify members of the gospel community. This Collective will benefit students in college gospel choirs nationwide.

Join us on August 13, 2026, as over 50 students from campuses across the country come together with one sound, one mission, and one voice – Worship! And, this is just the beginning! This will be an ongoing network for the college choirs, directors, and student leaders. Stay tuned!
